Funding for support from the Therapist 2 (SUD-P) would be afforded through the Health Care Authority (HCA) funding via a program called Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and other Substance Use Program (COSSUP). The duration of the -grant under the pilot program would be 3 .years. However, revising the Therapist 2 position, as opposed to hiring another DCR (SUD-P) to support this new SUD program, will mitigate risk associated with downsizing (should grant funding for the program discontinue). If approved, the suggested revisions to the Therapist 2 job description would incorporate revised job duties for those in the Therapist 2 position that are also DCR Designated. The revised job duties would amend the scope of work to include crisis response associated with substance use. This position will report to the Crisis team.
