RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION RESOLUTION No. 25- Ole I -CC
OF INTERAGENCY REIMBURSEMENT
AGREEMENT #IAA26837 BETWEEN
WASHINGTON STATE ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICE OF THE COURTS AND GRANT
COUNTY DISTRICT COURT
WHEREAS, Chapter 34.39 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local
government entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate
with other localities on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and
facilities in a manner and pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best
with geographic, economic, population and other factors influencing the needs and development
of local communities; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is
authorized pursuant to Chapter 39.34 RCW to enter into interagency agreements; and
WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, by and through Grant County District Court
(Community Court), is vested with authority to enter into an interagency agreement pursuant to
Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Interagency Reimbursement Agreement #IAA26837 is
to provide reimbursements to Courts for assisting with costs related to Therapeutic Courts; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Grant County, by and through Grant County District
Court (Community Court) and the Washington State AOC to enter into this Interagency
Reimbursement Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the attached Interagency
Reimbursement Agreement between Grant County District Court and the Washington State AOC
be approved.
