RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION No. 25- MP 0 -CC
EXECUTION OF INTERAGENCY
AGREEMENT #26-46108-10 BETWEEN
WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF
COMMERCE AND GRANT COUNTY
WHEREAS, Chapter 34.39 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local
government entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate
with other localities on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and
facilities in a manner and pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best
with geographic, economic, population and other factors influencing the needs and development
of local communities; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Commerce is authorized pursuant to
Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW to enter into interagency agreements; and
WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, is vested with authority to enter into an
interagency agreement pursuant to Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Interagency Agreement #26-46108-10 is to provide
resources to fund homelessness crisis response systems and to assist people who are
experiencing or are at risk of homelessness to obtain or maintain housing; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Grant County and Washington State Department of
Commerce to enter into this Interagency Agreement.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the attached Interagency
Agreement between Grant County and Washington State Department of Commerce be approved.
