Hello Barb,
Please find the attached Event Permit Application document. Event permits need to be routed to several
departments for comments/conditions.
The first bullet on the face of the permit defines the Permit Routing as follows:
1. BOCC Receives Completed Application and $200 fee
2. BOCC scans the Event Permit
3. BOCC emails the scan to all the departments (Fire Marshal, Public Health, Environmental Health,
Community Development Services, and the Public Works Department) for comments or conditions
of approval
4. Departments have (5) days to respond with comments/conditions of approval, otherwise they are
considered to have approved the event permit
5. BOCC attaches department comments/conditions and the authorized BOCC chair signs the permit
on consent, subject to the comments or conditions of approval.
Fortunately, event permits are uncommon.
This is the same process as iL our (Cfic H .
Thank You,
-r coy,
Dave Bren, PE, M DE
