RESOLUTION DECLARING
SURPLUS QTY. TWO (2) GRANT
COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
BOATS AND TRAILERS AND
ORDERING THE SALE THEREOF
RESOLUTION No. 25- -CC
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of County Commissioners
has the authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the county is surplus to the needs
of the county; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office owns the following boats/trailers:
• 1993 Almar Patrol/Rescue Boat (Asset Tag # 100784) with King Boat Trailer (Asset Tag
#100174)
• 2009 Thunder Jet Boat (Asset Tag #102889) with Tickler Boat Trailer (VIN
#1T9AS252092198093)
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office has determined these boats/trailers are no longer
of use to the Sheriff's Office and/or the cost of repairs is prohibitive; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office has requested that the Grant County Board of
County Commissioners declare these boats/trailers to be surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the declaration of these boats/trailers as surplus property, it is the
intent of the Sheriff's Office to auction the boats/trailers using Yarbro Auctions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above named boats/trailers with the intent to auction them.
