RE: One -Year Extension Request for SIP Grant #2024-03
Reclaimed Water Pipe Project (Phase 2)
Dear Board of Commissioners,
Please accept this letter as a formal request for a One -Year Extension of SIP Grant #2024-03,
regarding the Phase 2 Reclaimed Water Pipe Project. Authorizing this request would extend
the SIP Grant 2024-03 expiration date to August 20, 2026, which provides for the design to be
conducted in 2025 and construction in 2026.
The proposed Phase 2 Reclaimed Water Pipe project extends the reclaimed waterline to the
Port of Ephrata properties. The availability of cost-effective reclaimed waterfor current and
future Port clients will be a strategic economic benefit for the greater community.
Thank You for your consideration of this extension request,
Dave Bren, PE
