MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
AMENDING 2024-202215 COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT ARTICLE 12
This Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) amending Article 12 of the current Collective Bargaining
Agreement (CBA), is entered into by and between Teamsters Local No. 760, representing the Corrections
Unit, hereinafter referred to as the "Union", and Grant County, Washington, hereinafter referred to as
the "Employer".

The County desires to address internal equity within the Sheriff's Department as between law
enforcement classifications during this current time frame only and provide for a one time non -
precedent setting wage adjustment for corrections deputies. fi-i addition, this approach will enhance the
County's opportunities to attract better qualified candidates and to retain experienced corrections
deputies. Therefore, the County believes it is in the best interest of the Employer and the Employees to
proceed with a one-time non -precedent settino, amendment to Article 12 - Classifications - Wages,
section 12.1 of the current (202- -2025} CBA regarding the 2025 base wages only.

The amendment to Article 12, Section 12.1, consists of increasing the base pay for 2025 by two (2% j
precent effective beginning in the first full pay period followinc, signature of this MOA by the last signing

party. Beginning in the full pay period after the last party signs the MC X the 2025 wages will be two
(2%) percent higher than in the previous pay period. All calculations of this increase will be determined
by the Director of Human Resources. The Directors calculations are final and binding on the parties.
The Director of Human Resources reserves the right to correct any calculations as the Director deems
necessary. None of these calculations and corrections are subject to the grievance procedures. The
revised percent calculations will be reflected in an updated and attached Addendum B - Pay Plan.
This MCA amending the current CBA is a one-time, non -precedent setting agreement between the
parties.
