Dear Commissioners,

When we originally contracted with Carelon Behavioral Health for FY25 we received $706,269.10 in
Opioid Settlement Funds. This amount was contracted over a 5-year period so $141,253.82 was
available on an annual basis for organizations to apply to utilize through our County's Request for
Proposal (RFP).
Since then, Grant County has received an additional $776,198.62 totaling $1,482,467.72 in Opioid
Settlement Funds. I am requesting for FY26 beginning July 1, 2025, that Grant County add the total
amount of these additional funds to the Carelon Behavioral Health contract. This will bring the new
annual amount available to our communities to $296,492.54 over a 5-year period. Once approved I will
inform Carelon Behavioral Health so they can send us a contract amendment for FY26.
Thank you for your consideration. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,
t
Dell Anderson, M . Ed, LM H C
