A Resolution Relating to rename Baseline.5 Rd SE to Desert Hills Loop SE in
Accordance with Grant County Code Chapter 10.36, Related to the "Grant County
Road Naming and Site Addressing"
WHEREAS, a road name change from Baseline.5 Rd SE to Desert Hills LoopSE is
necessary
for the road name to conform to Grant County Code Chapter 10.36; and,
WHEREAS, the road name Baseline.5 Rd SE is non -conforming (does NOT follow the grid
system for road naming), and an application was submitted to Grant County Development
ment
Services, by the Desert Hills Homeowners Association on January 31, 2025, for a road name
change in accordance with Grant County Code Chapter 10.36.340; and,
WHEREAS, after complete review of application materials, Grant County GIS Division found
that the proposed road name "Desert Hills Loop SE" meets the road naming criteria outlined in
Grant County Code Chapter 10.3 6.3 05, Road Naming Standards; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners conducted an open -record public hearing on

March I I, 2025, to consider the petition from Desert Hills Home Owners Association to rename
Baseline.5 Rd SE to Desert Hills Loop SE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, That the Board of County

Commissioners approve to change the road name from Baseline.5 Rd SE to Desert Hills Loop
