This committee is known as the ,ARPAA Recomm en-dation Committee and has members from theCounty and the Public. On October 13 2021, th, e committee met to review, discuss, an, d -ultimately recommend en d the award of funds for certain .applicants who have requested grants from the ARPA -funds received by Grant Coun ty. To &tle, the committee has received numerous applications, and the .discussion was thoughtful and detailed. The com mitteehas more questions for some applicants anddecided to hold back, ssom, e potential -awards -to gather more detailed information about -those requests. On -October 19 ,2021 thhecorrimittees recomm-en, dations were presented to the Board of County Commi ssioners, (BOCC) for consideration. With recipient reporting protocols needing to be discussed and tdetemnim'ed,the DOCC pulled the consent item so these issues could be addressed. There was also further discussion necessary on the issue of awarding grants based on projected losses. During 2022 county budget discussions, it was suggested the committee forward those allocations which apply to county government. With county reporting protocols currently in place, it seems appropriate to put this request forward to the BOCC for the award requests that apply specifically to Grant County. The other, prior award requests will be brought to the BOCC when reclPient reporting protocols are fully identified. The awards brought forward in this request total $2,79,8,443.45. Grant County received $9.491,745.00 in 2021 as the first of two identical allocations slated for 2021 & 2022. With this recommendation, there would remain $6,693.,,301.55 from the first allocation for potential grants. The grant recommendations are detailed and highlighted in yellow on the attached spreadsheet. On the attached spreadsheet, grant expenditure categories are listed and defined. Danny E.
