RESOLUTION DECLARING RESOLUTION No. 25- 0Z$ -CC
CAPITAL ASSET SURPLUS FOR
DISPOSITION TO A
GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of Commissioners has the
authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the county is surplus to the needs of the
county; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.130 the Grant County Board of Commissioners may
dispose of county property to another governmental agency upon such terms as may be agreed upon and
for such consideration as may be deemed by the Board of County Commissioners to be adequate; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Emergency Management has surplus a security gate purchased in
2006 for a building located in the Port of Moses Lake with Asset Tag #102430; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Emergency Management has requested that the Board of County
Commissioners declare said security gate surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, once declared surplus, the security gate will be given to Grant County Port District
# 10/Port of Moses Lake.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board of
Commissioners declare as surplus the security gate as listed above for disposition to the Port of Moses
Lake.
