Re: Functional Exercise — Active Threat
Dear Commissioners)
Renew, in partnership with Grant County Sheriff's Office, Moses Lake Police Department, Moses Lake
Fire Department, and Samaritan Hospital are planning a functional exercise at our main office at 840 E.
Plum in Moses Lake, May 14,2025. The goal is to test and strengthen the coordinated response
capabilities of multiple agencies. The focus will be on executing Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs),
utilizing the Incident Command System (ICS), and integrating the Rescue Task Force (RTF) to ensure
an effective multi -agency response to an active shooter event.
I respectfully ask the Boards approval to close our offices on May 14, 2025. Crisis Services will still be
available during that time. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
