HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 24-122-CCBOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION No. 24- Id'9- -CC WHEREAS, Grant County, Department of Emergency Management has received a Washington State Department of Ecology Grant for the 23-35 Spill Prevention, Preparedness, and Response Equipment in the amount of $175,000.00; and WHEREAS, these funds will be used in the following categories: • New Response Equipment and Resources in the amount of $122,000.00, • Spill Response and Hazardous Materials Training in the amount of $30,000.00, and • Maintenance and Enhancement of Existing Response Equipment in the amount of $2300.00. WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing the 2024 budget; and WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to authorize additional budget appropriations. WHEREAS, on November 18, 2024 at 3:15 p.m., a public hearing was held in the Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, State of Washington, that a budget extension in the total amount of $175,000.00 to be allocated to the 2024 budget according to the following schedule of categories and items: APPROPRIATIONS &FINANCING SOURCES (See Attached) DATED this � �day of 6/'QY1- , 2024.
