RESOLUTION IN THE MATTER OF RESOLUTION No. 24- (70 -CC
TRANSFERING JURISDICTION OF
Bridge No. 350 on R-NW roadlog 30330 in
Sections 36 of T21N R23EWM AND
Section 31 T21NR24EWM
To Grant County PUD
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 39.33.010, Grant County, a political subdivision
of the State of Washington, acting through its Board of County Commissioners, recognizes the
benefits of transferring jurisdiction of portions of county roads and rights -of -way, namely that
bridge known as No. 350 R-NW roadlog 30330 as described below and as shown in Exhibit A:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Bridge No. 350 R-NW roadlog 30330, centered at approximately
milepost 0.82, in Section 36 of T21N R23EWM and Section 31 T21N R24EWM, All in
Grant County, Washington, AND
WHEREAS the County Engineer recommends the Grant County Board of Commissioners
proceed with the transfer of ownership to Grant County PUD as mutually agreed, per 39.33.010 and
WHEREAS the PUD will provide local access north of the bridge and will hereby work with
the Quincy Irrigation District and Grant County Public Works via an interlocal agreement for
inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board
of Commissioners, TRANSFER all interest in the rights -of -way as described above to the Grant
County PUD; along with any existing authority and jurisdiction to accommodate new and
existing power lines, communications lines and other franchised and/or permitted public and
private utilities.
