RESOLUTION DECLARING
SURPLUS CERTAIN COUNTY -
OWNED EQUIPMENT AND THE
TRANSFER THEREOF TO
ANOTHER GOVERNMENTAL
ENTITY
RESOLUTION No. 24- / z4 -CC
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of Commissioners has
the authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the county is surplus to the
needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Emergency Management purchased the following tactical
response equipment under WA Military Department 2016 and 2018 State Homeland Security
Grant E 17-074 and E 19-110:
Six (6) Flir Thermal Handheld Cameras
with the following Asset Tag Numbers:

WHEREAS, this tactical response equipment is no longer of use to Grant County
Emergency Management; and
WHEREAS, the Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team has a need of this
tactical response equipment; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Emergency Management has requested that the Grant County
Board of Commissioners declare this equipment to be surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the declaration of this equipment as surplus property, it is the
intent of Grant County Emergency Management to transfer said equipment to the Moses Lake
Regional Tactical Response Team.
