Public Works Surplus of Certain County -Owned Items

The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a request
q st from Public Works to
declare surplus certain county -owned items and the sale thereof through u g p blicsurplus.com.
Dave Bren, County Engineer and John Spiess, Fleet Manager went through the lis
tings stings on
www.publicsurplus.com. Public Works will begin to include pictures of the items to be surplused.
Tom Gaines stated the Fairgrounds is interested in a rock rake. John Spiess to choose oose one to sell to the
Fairgrounds and remove it from the
auction site.
A motion was made by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Stone, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by
Commissioner Stone to approve the surplus as presented. Commissioner Jones seconded and the
motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned. (Resolution 24-101-CC)
