RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RESOLUTION No. 24- /0 3 -CC
EXECUTION OF INTERAGENCY
AGREEMENT NO.24-62210-005
BETWEEN GRANT COUNTY
THROUGH CDBG PROGRAM AND
WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT
OF COMMERCE FOR PUBLIC
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, Chapter 34.39 RCW, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, permits local
government entities to make the most efficient use of their powers by enabling them to cooperate
with other localities on a basis of mutual advantage, for the purposes of providing services and
facilities in a manner and pursuant to forms of governmental organization that will accord best
with geographic, economic, population and other factors influencing the needs and development
of local communities; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Department of Commerce is authorized pursuant to
Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW to enter into interagency agreements; and
WHEREAS, Grant County, Washington, by and through the Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) Program Public Services Grant, is vested with authority to enter into an
interagency agreement pursuant to Chapter 3 9.3 4 RCW; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of Interagency Agreement 24-62210-005 is to provide Public
Services through OIC of Washington to low- and moderate -income persons in Grant County; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Grant County, by and through the CDBG Program Public
Services Grant, and the Washington State Department of Commerce to enter into an interagency
agreement for Public Services.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the attached Interagency
Agreement between Grant County and Washington State Department of Commerce to administer
Public Services be approved.
