SUBJECT: Request to Surplus/Sale Public Works Property to Grant County
Fairgrounds
Request the surplus/sale of certain county -owned property.
Equipment # 1504, a 2007 York Rock Rake, listed on Attachment A. This unit will be purchased
by the fairground's maintenance division, through Central Services in the amount of $1,500 from
fund 001 -112-00-0000-573-70-31 -00.
Because Grant County Public Works is selling to a Governmental Agency a Public Hearing is
not required.

SUPRLUS AND THE SALE
THEREOF TO ANOTHER
COUNTY ENTITY
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of Commissioners has the
authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the county is surplus to the needs of the
county; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works has a 2007 York Rock Rake, Equipment No. 1504, that
is no longer of use to the department; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Fairgrounds maintenance division through Central Services, has a
need of this Rock Rake; and
WHEREAS, Public Works has requested that the Grant County Board of Commissioners declare
this Rock Rake to be surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the declaration of this item as surplus property, it is the intent of Public
Works to sell said Rock Rake to the Grant County Fairgrounds, through Central Services, in the amount of
$1,500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above -named item.
