Hi Karrie:
After much internal discussion here, McKay has elected to relinquish and disclaim any interest in the portion
of unused funds remaining in SIP grant No. 2023-06 in the amount of $73,470.39 for release to the pool of SIP
funds available for subsequent award as determined appropriate by the SIP committee and
Commissioners. Also, I want to thank you for your assistance in this matter. Please do not hesitate to call me
with any questions.

Subject: SIP 2023-06 McKay
Hi Cliff,
Just a quick update, yesterday at Roundtable the Commissioners are still not sure that they want to use funds from
one SIP grant for another. They are leaning towards keeping it as is and going with the EDC original
recommendations. The county has not had anyone ask to use funding from one SIP for another and they do not
want it to become a trend. They have asked the Prosecutor to investigate the legalsofit, and there was an issue
that Development Services brought up about their agreement with EDC and the Appendix J project amounts, I am
not sure what all that entails but I have asked Chris Young to look into for me.
