Re: Out -of -State Travel for WSU Extension to OSU Hermiston and Moscow ID
WSU Faculty often travel to two out-of-state locations in the conduct of their jobs; the Oregon
State University Hermiston Agricultural Research & Extension Center, and Moscow, ID. The
Hermiston Center is visited because we often collaborate with researchers there on projects
and/or attend ag-related events. Moscow, ID is often visited because either we are working
with collaborators from the University of Idaho, or because hotels are either booked or very
expensive (during special events, like WSU football games) in Pullman. Many of these trips,
especially to Hermiston, are daytrips.
We request permission for the next year, to Oct. 1, 2025 to travel to these two out-of-state
locations in Grant county vehicles without submitting a request for permission for each
individual trip.
If you need more information, please let us know.
Thank you,
Andy McGuire
Director, Grant County WSU Extension
