SUBJECT: Request for Out of State Travel
Request Out of State Travel to tour the Western Star truck Production Plant.
Grant County Public Works is purchasing a 2024 Western Star 49X Dump Truck chassis that was
approved in the 2024 Equipment Expense Program. Freightliner Northwest is offering a tour of the
Production Plant on October 23, 2024, in Portland Oregon.
The following people will be going on the tour:
John Brissey- Road District 1 Supervisor
John R. Spiess -Fleet Manager
Mike DeTrolio- District 2 Supervisor
Justin Walker- District 2 Foreman
James Davis- District 2 Foreman
Freightliner Northwest will provide transportation and meals with no cost to Grant County Public Works.
