SUBJECT: Request to Declare Certain County -Owned Property Surplus and Sale to the
Fairgrounds
We respectfully request to Declare Certain County_ caned Property Surplus and Ordering
the Sale Thereof.
Equipment # 0039, a 2004 Sullair Model 260 DPQ-JD air compressor, listed on Attachment
A. This equipment is part of a fleet reduction and will be purchased by the fairgrounds
maintenance division through Central Services in the amount of $2,500 from fund 001-112-
00-0000-573-70-31 -00.
Because Grant County Public Works is selling to a Governmental Agency a Public Hearing
is not required.
Your attention and consideration to this matter are greatly appreciated.

COUNTY -OWNED ITEM
SUPRLUS AND THE SALE
THEREOF TO ANOTHER
COUNTY ENTITY
WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 36.34.010, the Grant County Board of Commissioners has the
authority to decide whether real or personal property owned by the county is surplus to the needs of the
county; and
WHEREAS, Grant County Public Works has a 2004 Sullair Model 260 DPQ-JD Towable Air
Compressor, Equipment No. 0039, that is no longer of use to the department; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Fairgrounds maintenance division through Central Services, has a
need of this air compressor; and
WHEREAS, Public Works has requested that the Grant County Board of Commissioners declare
this air compressor to be surplus to the needs of the county; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the declaration of this item as surplus property, it is the intent of Public
Works to sell said air compressor to the Grant County Fairgrounds, through Central Services, in the amount
of $2,500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Board of County
Commissioners declare as surplus the above -named item.
