RESOLUTION No. 24- Obl) -CC
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office Interagency Narcotics Enforcement Team
(INET) wants to purchase automatic license plate reader cameras (Flock Cameras) using INET
Seizure budget funds in the amount of $59,000; and
WHEREAS, the Grant County Sheriff's Office has been awarded a reimbursement grant
from the Washington Auto Prevention Authority (WATPA) in the amount of $55,000; and
WHEREAS, the funds received from the WATPA Grant funds will be used to reimburse the
INET Seizure budget funds up to $55,000; and
WHEREAS, these additional budget revenues/expenditures were not anticipated when
preparing the 2024 budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to authorize
additional budget appropriations; and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of August 2024 at 3:15 p.m., a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a budget
extension in the total amount of $59,000 to be allocated to the 2024 budget according to the
following schedule of categories and items:
APPROPRIATIONS & FINANCING SOURCES
