RESOLUTION No. 24- 001 -CC
WHEREAS, the Economic Enhancement Strategic Infrastructure Ending Fund balance (Fund
#113) projects do not have an adequate level of budget appropriation to make the following expenditures:
• SIP #2023-04: City of Quincy— Water Management and Recycling Feasibility Study Project $325,000
(Grant)
• SIP #2023-05: Grant County Port District #4, Port of Coulee City, New Coulee City Medical Clinic
$779,000 (Grant)
• SIP #2023-06: Grant County Hospital District #4, Engineering and Outdoor Facilities Projects
$166,643 (Grant)
• SIP #2024-01: Port of Royal Slope, Rd E SW Water Line Extension $85,000 (Grant)
WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing the 2024
budget; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 3 6.40.140 a public hearing, must be held to authorize
additional -budget appropriations; and
WHEREAS, on the 20th day of August 2024 at 3:15 p.m., a public hearing was held in the Grant
County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that a budget
appropriation in the total amount of $1,355,643.00 to be allocated to the 2024 budget according to the
following schedule of categories and items:
