INTERIM COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR _
RESOLUTION No. 24- 001 -CC
WHEREAS, the Interlocal Cooperation Act, RCW 39.34, authorizes intergovernmental g rnmental
agencies to execute cooperation agreements for the purpose of providing services anfacilities
p g d
for the benefit of the public and participating agencies; and
WHEREAS, the County Public Works Director position in Grant Count will become
p
vacant September 7, , 2024• and y
WHEREAS, WAC 136- I2-080 requires the county to designate a full time employee t o
perform the day-to-day supervisor responsibilities of the count engineering duties not requiring Y g g a
professional civil engineering license in accordance with policies established by g the legislative
authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED b the Grant Count Bo

Commissioners that Andrew "Andy" Booth is authorized to perform all day-to-day p y y supervisor
responsibilities of the county engineering services not requiring a professional civil '

licenses. This resolution shall remain in effect until the Count hires a new full time P
