RESOLUTION No. 24- 00q -CC
WHEREAS, Grant County Development Services has received approval to purchase specialty
equipment for the newly acquired Fire Marshal Vehicle in the anticipated amount of $5,000.00; and
WHEREAS, First Response Installations submitted a quote for this service in the amount of
$8,726.79; and
WHEREAS, the following fund does not have an adequate level of budget for the following
expenses:
• Fund #138.116 —Development Services: $3,727.00 to purchase pre -approved specialty
items for the Fire Marchal Vehicle.
WHEREAS, Development Services is requesting a budget extension so they may purchase the
aforementioned specialty equipment from First Response Installations; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140, a public hearing must be held to authorize
additional budget appropriations; and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of August 2024, at 3:00 p.m., a public hearing was held in the
Grant County Commissioners' Hearing Room.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, that the above -listed
budget extension to be allocated to the 2024 budget according to the following schedule of categories and
items:
