BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION TO RESCIND AND RESOLUTION No. 24- cc REPLACE RESOLUTION NO, 24 -041 -CC IN THE MATTER OF TRANSFERF% JURISDICTION OF Excess 10 ft of rights, east side of Stratford roadlog 94025 in Sections 14, 23 & 26 of Township 22 N Range 28 E. of W.M. TO THE GRANT COUNTY PUD WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 3 9.3 3.010, Grant County, a political subdivision of the State of Washington, acting through its Board of County Commissioners, recognizes the benefits of transferring jurisdiction of portions of county roads and rights-of-way, namely that portion of Excess rights along Stratford Road roadlog 94025 as described below and as shown in Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, said transfer was completed on 4/23/2024 via Resolution Number 24 -041 - CC; and Vv'HEREAS,, it was determined that Resolution No. 24 -041 -CC contained an error in the legal description; and WHEREAS, this document corrects this error in Township of the following legal description, rescinding and replacing 24 -041 -CC: LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Stratford Road, roadlog 94025 Section 14: per AFN 175575 SW4 east 10 ft thereof. Section 23: AFN 152351 SW4 east 10 ft thereof; and 152353; NW4 east 10 ft thereof. Section 26: NW4 AFN 152354 east 10 ft thereof. in Sections 14, 23, and 26 of T22N R28EWM All in Grant County, Washington; and WHEREAS, the County Engineer recommends the Grant County Board of Commissioners proceed with the transfer of ownership to Grant County PUD as mutually agreed, per 39.33.010. C:\Users\snellis\Downloads\Public Works Jurisdictional Txfr amendment transferStratfordlO.docx NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the Grant County Board of Commissioners, TRANSFER all interest in the rights-of-way as described above to the Grant County PUD; along with any existing authority jurisdiction and to accommodate new and existing power lines, communications lines and other franchised and/or permitted public and private utilities, superseding Resolution 24 -041 -CC which was rescinded and not recorded.
