Each package will require an amendment to the standard AIA -A133 contract between Grant County and Lydig Construction. The first amendment was for the cleanup of the site and hazardous materials abatement. It totaled $255,991.00. That work has been completed. This second amendment numbered GMP No2 includes the earthwork to demolish the track, bring water from across highway 282 (jack and bore operation) install water to the southern portion of our property, install sewer the entire length to the wastewater treatment plant, level most of the ground and prepare it for building pads, prepare the laydown yard, and trailer farm. It also includes the soft administrative costs associated with all contractors working this portion of the work. It totals $2,932,109.00. All costs are broken down and attached to this request. As with the previous GMP amendment, Central Services respectfully requests the Board sign the amendment so that we may begin clearing, leveling, and adding infrastructure to the site, preparing for vertical construction in the spring.
