DATE OF ACTION:A W APPROVE: DENIED ABSTAIN Dl: D2: D3: DEFERRED OR CONTINUED TO: Grant Cou ty LTA Lodging Tax Advisory Cominitte .._. 41 PO Box 37 lEphrata, November 2, 2023 MEMORANDUM FOR Grant County Commissioners FROM: Grant County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) SUBJECT: 2024 Lodging Tax Grant Disbursement Recommendation The Grant County Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) met on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in the Commissioners Hearing Room at the Grant County Courthouse. All applications for 2024 LTAC Grants were reviewed and all applicants in attendance were afforded the opportunity to provide presentations and answer any questions from the LTAC. In accordance with RCW 67.28.1816 (2)(b)(ii), it is required that the municipality's legislative body, the BOCC, make the final determination. The municipality may choose only recipients from the list of candidates and recommended amounts provided by the local lodging tax advisory committee. The total amount recommended to be funded for the 2024 LTAC Grants is: $ 1,554,616. After discussion with the accounting department, the remaining revenue ($54,616) may/will be rolled over from the 2023 funds. Upon Commissioners approval of these recommendations, agreements will be generated and provided from the Prosecuting Attorney's Office for each recipient.
