A motion was made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Carter, to close the public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by Commissioner Carter to approve the surplus and sale as presented. Commissioner Stone seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned. BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION TO DECLARE GRANT RESOLUTION No. 23 - -CC COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS SURPLUS OF CERTAIN COUNTY -OWNED PROPERTY AND ORDERING THE SALE THEREOF WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners gave of its intention to surplus and dispose of said property listed on ATTACHMENT A through the following site: www.publiesMIus.com and www.GovDeals.com; and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the said proposition on the 17th day of October 2023, at the hour of 3:30 P.M. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County, Washington, having fully considered the proposition, finds that said Public Works County -owned vehicles and equipment are not required for County purposes and that the public will benefit by declaring said vehicles and equipment surplus and disposing of them in a manner consistent with RCW 36.34.080.
