HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 90-142-CCt f� BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON IN THE MATTER OF CHANGING THE ZONING FROM "AGRICUL- TURE" TO "R-1", "R-2", "C -G", "C-R", AND -O-SR- FOR A PLANNED UNIT DE- VELOPMENT TO BE LOCATED IN PORTIONS OF SECTIONS AND 4, 9 AND 10, TOWNSHI 18 N., RANGE 28 E.W.M. RESOLUTION NO. 90 -142 -CC RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION Young Development & Construction Co., Moses Lake Estates WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Grant County has been advised by the Grant County Planning Commission that a public hearing was conducted on October 3 and continued to November 7, 1990 on the matter of approving a planned unit development and associated land use and zone changes from "Agriculture"_to 11R-1", "R-2", "C -G", "C-R", and "O -SR" in portions of Sections 3 and 4, 9 and 10, Township 18 N., Range 28 E.W.M., Grant County, Washington, and; WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, having said recommendation for accepting the Master Plan of Development and the proposed zone changes has given notice this matter would be considered at their regular meeting on , 1990. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of County Commissioners for Grant County does hereby accept and adopt the recommendation of the Grant County Planning Commission and does, by this Resolution amend the Grant County Comprehensive Plan and the Official zoning Map for Grant County to the effect that the following described property shall henceforth be zoned as a "Planned Unit Development" with the following zoning districts being located within the proposal, "R-1", "R-211, "C-G"C-R" and "O -SR" as shown on the Master Plan for Development. Said area to be located in a portion of the N.E. 1/4 of Sec- tion 3, and the South one half of said Section 3; a portion of the South one half of Section 4 lying easterly.of the shoreline of Moses Lake; the North half of Section 9; and a portion of the North half of Section 10, Township 18 N., Range 28 E.W.M., Said area containing 1,188 acres. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commissioners accepts the Planned Unit Development with the recommendation that if no progress is made within five years on the first phase of development, the area shall be reverted back to its original "Agricultural" zoning classification, and also that a traffic study to address the impact upon Division Street and the freeway interchange be addressed by Mr. Young prior to development.
