GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION No. gC-26-CC
A RESOLUTION relating to the establishment of a petty
cash/revolving fund for the Prosecuting Attorney's Victim -
Witness Program, to be called: Victim Special Assistance Fund.
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of
County Commissioners that a petty cash/revolving fund should be
established as set forth here in below; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of said fund is in accordance
with state and county laws and does not require a public budget
hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, as follows:
1. That a petty cash/revolving fund (account) to be known
as Victim Special Assistance Fund, is hereby established in the
amount of $100 for the Prosecuting Attorney's Victim -Witness
Program.
2. That the prosecutor's victim -witness coordinator shall
be custodian of said fund, shall record all transactions
according to proper accounting procedures, and shall use it only
for the purpose of meeting emergency needs of victims as set
forth in the Victims of Crime Act grant to the Prosecuting
Attorney's Victim -Witness Program for special needs of victims.
3. That all expenditures from said fund are to be supported
with appropriate receipts and reimbursement of said fund shall be
by claim voucher and warrant.

Re: Establishing Petty Cash Fund for Victim Assistance
Gentlemen:
Enclosed is a resolution form for establishing a petty
cash fund for special needs of victims as specified in the
Victims of Crime Act grant to the prosecuting attorney's
victim -witness program.
The grant established:maximum amounts of $900 under
supplies and $480 in miscellaneous for victim needs for
emergency food, clothing and personal needs and child care
needs. A petty cash fund needs to be available to the
victim -witness coordinator so that these needs can be
readily-
ssed.
