RESOLUTION APPROVING
BOUNDARY LINE ADJUSTMENT
AND LAND EXCHANGE
RESOLUTION No. 20- 0 qc� -CC
WHEREAS, Grant County was donated a parcel of land (parcel no. 171233003) along
Road 20; and
WHEREAS, there is a dispute as to a building on that land; and
WHEREAS, the highest and best use for the land for the County is to exchange it with the
Bureau of Reclamation for other land the County requires to build a new landfill; and
WHEREAS, the land the County will possess after the exchange will meet the
requirements of the Bureau of Reclamation; and
WHEREAS, all the requirements of RCW 36.34.330 governing land exchanges with
private parties have been met; and
WHEREAS, the Superior Court of Grant County has approved the exchange pursuant to
RCW 36.34.330; and
WHEREAS, exchanging the land will avoid costly litigation, still achieve the County's
goals for the property and result in a net increase of value for the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY hereby approves the land exchange via the
boundary line adjustment to parcels 171293003, 171293001 and 171293005 as detailed in the
attached document.

Grant County does not guarantee building site, legal access, available water, or septic areas for parcels receiving approval for
boundary line adjustments or segregations. Platting your property (if you can meet planing and subdivision standards) will ensure
certain development rights. All property taxes must be paid in full on all affected parcels being segregated/ boundary line adjusted
prior to completion of this application process. The Treasurees office cannot stamp your deed for recording until all taxes and
assessments are paid in full.
Final review by the County Planning Department will require contlrroation of ownership and legal description by the
County Assessor's Office.
