HomeMy WebLinkAboutGrant Related - BOCC (003)COMPLETED �_ 9 231 P Date: GRANT COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS To: Board of County Commissioners Data September 17, 2020 Re: Request by Grant County Fire District No. 13 for Application of Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) through CARES Act Grant No. 20-6541 C-013 Grant County Fire District 13 has submitted correspondence requesting application for utilization of the Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) through CARES Act Grant in the amount of $15,000.00 (attached). In discussions today with April Stucky who is working on behalf of the District, it was communicated the actual amount needed will be closer to $16,000.00. Should the BOCC approve Fire District No. 13's request for application of these funds, the following decisions/actions will need to be made: 1. Determine the level of funding to be made available to the District; 2. Determine the term in which funds will be available for reimbursement of qualifying expenditures; 3. Pass a resolution authorizing execution of an interlocal agreement with the District related to Coronavirus Relief Funds CARES Act grant funding; and 4. Create and enter into an interlocal cooperation agreement with the District for same.
