There may have been a policy written in the past but I cannot find it anywhere. We allow many
youth groups to use the facilities free of charge as long as the use is an organized 4-H or FFA
event. In addition, we have allowed youth groups, with a leader, to use the facility in a non 4-H
or FFA sponsored event during the Covid Pandemic, but with the same leaders and youth. I
would like to formalize this process recognizing that this facility is crucial in the development of
youth in 4-H and FFA programs throughout the County.
The Fairgrounds allows, based on availability, 4-H and FFA youth, with their leaders, to use
the Fairgrounds facilities free of charge. This policy is an effort to recognize the importance of
the facility in the development of youth programs, sponsored by 4-H and FFA. In addition,
during the recent Covid Pandemic, the same policy would apply to youth and leaders who
require the use of the Fairgrounds facilities in a non -4-H and FFA sponsored capacity but for
the same development of youth programs.
Thank you for your consideration
