RE: Strategic Infrastructure Project—SIP No. 2018-08
City of Warden, Wastewater System Lift Station
Dear Commissioners,
The City of Warden is requesting the consideration of extension for the above referenced
funding.
It is our request to extend the date to January 1, 2021. Additional funding has been procured
through the Department of Ecology, Centennial Clean Water Funds to complete the project.
The city has the design for the project complete. The city applied for an easement release from
the Bureau of Reclamation in November of 2019. The Bureau is still in the process of review.
Until the release is complete, the city is unable to begin construction.
Your consideration for this extension is appreciated during this time of delayed work due to
COVID-19.
Sincerely,
G7
