Central services is asking for a budget transfer to complete the various paving projects at the
fairgrounds. Central Services is not asking for a new appropriation of funds but to transfer funds
from already approved projects that will either not be used or contains unused funds from
completed projects or projects forecasted not to utilize the entire appropriated amount.
Central Services requested a change order from Quality Paving for needed work that was
discovered after the bid was published. The work includes repairs to ADA paths and grading for
storm water behind the Ardell pavilion and the paving of the purple gate entrance to mitigate
issues with the gate, to stop animals from going underneath the gate, and to provide a better
ADA approach where an existing ADA approach was stopped short and transitioned to dirt and
gravel.
Central services is requesting the following funds be moved to pay for the paving project;
$11,046.78 from the Desert Artist Partition project, 126.168.00.9116.594736210
$1,887.48 from the HVLS Fan project, 126.168.00.9112.594736210
For a total of $12,934.26 to 126.168.00.9116.594736214
