RESOLUTION PROVIDING RESOLUTION No. 20- J`fU -CC
TEMPORARY AMENDMENTS TO
COUNTY PERSONNEL POLICIES FOR
THE DURATION OF THE
CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PUBLIC
HEALTH CRISIS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is committed to providing support and
protection to the employees of Grant County; and
WHEREAS, Grant County personnel policies provide day-to-day guidance on the application of
employee compensation and leave programs; and
WHEREAS, the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) public health crisis has created the need to
act outside established personnel policies;
WHEREAS, employees will be required to submit the following forms via electronic format:
leave authorization request, payroll, accounts payable, overtime request, etc.; and
WHEREAS, in order to not delay Telecommuting Employees payroll, reimbursement or an
electronic documents that require signature; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, in order to protect the health and safety of Grant County
employees who are able to telecommute and not delay payroll, or other electronic submittals by
employees; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED this policy will only be in effect during the COVID 19
Emergency per resolution 20 -026 -CC done on March 13th, 2020; and
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, the Grant County Board of Commissioners approved the
temporary amend to a portion of the Grant County Personnel Policy, adding an Electronic
Signature Policy.
This policy exception directive is effective retroactively to 03/10/20.
