The Auditor's Office, with assistance from Technology Services, is in discussions with
Collective Data to expand the County's use of their software, Quartermaster. Quartermaster is
an inventory tracking software that is currently being used by the Sheriffs Office to track their
small and attractive assets. Technology Services and Accounting would like to begin using
Quartermaster to track all capital assets that are reported by Accounting, Quad inventory that is
tracked and reported by Technology Services and also expand its use to include small and
attractive assets that, going forward, will need to be tracked by Departments.
Technology Services received a quote for the expansion of Quartermaster from Collective Data
in the amount of $13,750.00. Technology Services has agreed to pay for the professional
services cost ($3,500.00) and the Auditor's Office would pay for the balance ($10,250.00). As
this was not a budgeted item in the 2020 budget, we are requesting a budget extension in the
amount of $10,250.00 for the Auditor's budget to move forward with the expansion of
Quartermaster.
Thank you for your consideration of this request.
Sincerely,
Madeline J. Prentice
