RESOLUTION DECREASING THE FAIR RESOLUTION No. 20- 0o3 -CC
CHANGE FUND FOR THE GRANT
COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS FUND #116
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners
that the Fair Change Fund, Fund #116, Department #159, needs to be decreased; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 90 -53 -CC dated June 25, 1990 established this fund in the
amount of $100.00; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 12 -038 -CC dated June 12, 2012 increased the fund to
$400.00; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 14 -017 -CC dated March 25, 2018 increased the fund to
$1,000.00; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 18 -076 -CC dated August 7, 2019 increased the fund to
$1,100.00; and
WHEREAS, it was later determined that $100.00 approved by Resolution No. 18 -076 -
CC was not needed and never used and was rescinded by Resolution No. 19 -068 -CC; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 19 -068 -CC dated August 27, 2019 also increased the fund
by $600.00 to $1,400.00. The additional $600.00 was used for Exhibitor Registration and has
since been determined to not be a year-round requirement. Instead, the Fairgrounds will request
an additional $600.00 for each Fair Season as part of their start-up funds, and will return it after
Fair.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF GRANT COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, to
decrease Fund #116, Department #159, Fair Change Fund, to the amount of $800.00, for the cash
registers at the Fairgrounds.
