Crescent Ridge Ranch Extension of Development Agreement

2:00 p.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider the adoption of
an extension to an existing Development Agreement by and between Grant County and CRR
Land Co. LLC, for the Crescent Ridge Ranch Development, pursuant to RCW 36.70B.170. The
property is approx. 107 -acres and located in portions of S 18, T 20 N, R 23 (Parcel No. 15-0637-
008).
Damien Hooper, Development Services Director stated the original development agreement was
set to expire after 7 years, January 29, 2020. The project is not complete but making substantial
progress. The developer is requesting an extension to September 30, 2031. The agreement
remains intact, only a resolution will be passed to extend the agreement.
Dell Green, Columbia Northwest Engineering who is working with the developer, stated the
project is moving along. He believes the project will be done before the requested deadline.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Carter to close the
public comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Carter
moved to approve the extension to January 29, 2031. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the
motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned.
AMENDED MOTION — Commissioner Taylor reopened the hearing to amend the previous
motion. Commissioner Carter moved to amend her previous motion and change the extension
date to September 30, 2031. Commissioner Stevens seconded and the motion passed
unanimously. The hearing adj ourned.
