Plumbing Chase Seat; Main Jail
Dear Commissioners:
I'm requesting permission to move forward with the previously approved Capital
Expenditure in the plumbing chase seal/remodel. you approved the plumbing chase
seal project in the amount of $1,100.00 as a Capital Outlay request. We have
obtained two (2) comparable/competitive bids, Stan's Construction and Son, LLC
and Central Washington Property Restorations, LLC, to perform the work.
Of the two (2) quotes obtained, Stan's Construction and Son, LLC came in at the
lowest bid. Central Washington Property Restorations LLC was at $4,106.74 and
San's Construction was $1,052.79.
I'm requesting to move forward and use Stan's Construction for the work on the
project. I have attached the comparable bids for your review.

Seal Plumbing 2.0 $1,896.00 $3,792.00
Repairing the plumbing closets will be done in multiple stages, First we will have to
cut out spray foam around the pipes. The second stage is to clean the area. Third,
we will seal all the penetrations through the Floor with a Black Jack style material.
Then once it is dry we will install a self -leveling concrete to seal everything up.
Finally, we will install a concrete sealer to make sure that the floor is as sealed as
possible to prevent future leaks. This will be completed by employee's that are
declared and paid prevailing wage for a carpenter at $45.11. This work will have to
be completed over 3 partial nights. One to clean and seal penetrations. One partial
night to let self leveling compound. Last night will be to spray on the concrete
sealer.

Tax (Ellensburg 8.3%) $314.74

C.W.P.R, LLC. may need to change the scope of work once work has begun due to unforeseen damage,
changes to specifications requested by the Signatory or to satisfy local laws and codes Once work has
been started, all change orders are required to be in writing. C W.P R., LLC may need to place a change
order in the event something unforeseen occurs, which changes the scope of work to be completed. All
time frames and some scopes may be affected by weather. Invoices exceeding 30 days are subject to a
late fee.
