Auditor's Office Budget Extension Request to REET 1 and 2 for the new County Morgue

3:20 p.m. Open Record Public Hearing to consider the following Auditor's Office Budget Extension
request for expenses related to the anticipated new County Morgue:
• REET 1st Qtr Fund 126.168 in the amount of $375,,000.00
• REET 2nd Qtr Fund 132.178 in the amount of $375,000.00
Katie Smith, Chief Financial Officer discussed the request.
Tom Gaines, Central Services Director gave an update on the new morgue. Samaritan Hospital is going
out for bond to fund this new hospital. This extension is to pay for engineering services ETC. Grant
County has not yet been billed for any services.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stone to close the public comment portion of the hearing.
Commissioner Carter seconded and the motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by
Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Carter to approve the budget extensions as presented.
The motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned.,
