1:30 p.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to conduct a public hearing
to declare surplus real property located at 1042 W. Ivy Ave., Moses Lake (Parcel No. 10-0051-
000). This property is of no use to Grant County and will be sold at public auction as set by the
County Treasurer.
Darryl Pheasant, Treasurer, stated this property is located behind 1042 W. Ivy Ave., Moses Lake,
on B Street and is a vacant piece of land. (The Clerk of the Board advertised the actual address of
the parcel as that address, which is incorrect). The current assessment is $43,200.00. It was
previously purchased for the potential use by the county Mental Health Department, currently
known as Grant Integrated Services. It was purchased in 2000 for the amount of $65,000.00.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stevens, seconded by Commissioner Taylor, to close the
public comment portion of this hearing. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance.
Commissioner Stevens moved to declare the property as surplus and place the parcel up for sale
and returning the funds back to Grant Integrated Services. Commissioner Taylor seconded and
the motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. The hearing adjourned.
