3:37 p.m. The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to adopt an ordinance
repealing and replacing Chapter 9.07 of the Grant County Code titled "Potentially Dangerous
Dog Control and Dangerous Dog Regulation". This will be the policy to minimize exposure of
citizens to the threat of dangerous and potentially dangerous dogs, and to regulate same, pursuant
to RCW 16.08.090.
Kate Mathews, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, asked for a continuance of this public hearing.
There were internal inconsistent provisions within the code and they want to consult with Deputy
Ledeboer.
Commissioner Stevens moved to continue this hearing until March 26, 2019 at 11:30 a.m.
Commissioner Taylor seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The hearing adjourned.
