Sam Castro, Public Works Director, gave a brief synopsis on the proposed changes.

The Disposal Fee amendment is being requested because based on cubic yard, not cents. The Paradigm
Software has a rounding issue within the accounting system and therefore it creates inaccurate
transactions. This will allow for better accounting.
A motion was made by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Stone, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by
Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Jones to approve the amendment as presented. The
motion passed unanimously.
