HomeMy WebLinkAbout*Other - Central ServicesBoard of County Commissioners Re: Dedication of a public Right -Of -Way Grant County Central Services P O Box 37 Ephrata WA 98823 (S09) 754-2011 Ext -3276 January 12, 2023 The Board is aware that we agreed with the Ibarra family to construct a maintained gravel road along the southern boundary of the new jail property (which we will need regardless) and extend the road to the Ibarra family's property boundary. Considering this, the Ibarra's agreed to relinquish all prescriptive and formalized easements on the property, leaving us with no easements that could delay us in building the jail or using the property in any other way the County deems necessary. In consultation with our contracted Civil Engineer and members of our Public Works and Development Services staff, it was concluded the best way forward was to dedicate a public right of way to build the road. This request includes the required survey information and legal description for the right of way. With the Board's approval, this will be recorded, and the Right of Way will be completed.
