The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider the following budget extension
requests:
District Court request in the amount of $125,000.00 to soundproof District Court courtroom
#301 using Trial Court Improvement Funds (127.169).
Commissioners Office in the amount of $50,.000.00 to pay invoices on Sandra Van Ostens
contract for her consulting services regarding homeless programs and the Homeless Task
Force
• Veterans Assistance Fund in the amount of $100.,000.00 from the Veterans Reserve Fund
(104.146.00.0000.311100000) to pay for wages/professional services/rent and utilities for
Veterans in need.
A motion was made by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Stone, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance. A motion
was made by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Stone to approve the budget
extensions as presented. The motion passed with 2 Commissioners in attendance.
