Legacy Resort — Development Agreement

The Commissioners held an Open Record Public Hearing to consider a proposed Development
Agreement between Grant County and Legacy Resort Construction, LLC. The proposed development
agreement will guide and direct the development of the Master Planned Resort known as "The Legacy
Resort at Frenchman Hills". The parcels subject to this agreement include 21-0044-000; 21-0042-000,
21-0043-005, and those portions of the Legacy Resort that have previously been recorded. The term on
the agreement will be for 20 years unless otherwise extended or terminated.
Damien Hooper, Director of Development Services stated this will reinstate a development agreement
that had a short duration and establishes a 20 -year timeline for the project. This one document has all
amendments that have occurred over the previous duration.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stone, seconded by Commissioner Jones, to close the public
comment portion of the hearing. The motion passed unanimously. A motion was made by
Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Stone to approve the amended Development
Agreement as presented. The motion passed unanimously.
