BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS Grant County, Washington RESOLUTION No. 21- 6 F- -CC WHEREAS, the following Grant County funds do not have an adequate level of budget for the following expenses: • Veteran Assistance Fund, Fund #104, Department #146 in the amount of $75,000.00 due to the high volume of Veteran Assistance Claims being filed. Funding will be transferred from the VAB Reserve Fund (104.146). • Facilities and Maintenance Fund #126, Department #168 in the amount of $39,527.17 for Juvenile Court and Youth Services- Moses Lake exterior project (FM2111 in the amount of $56,769.08) and the Health District Part 2 exterior project (FM2112 in the amount of $72,953.20) utilizing $45,000 from the water heater project and using BEET 1 funds. • Juvenile Court and Youth Services Fund #001, Department #117 in the amount of $25,079.00 to receive a Washington State Department of Commerce VOCAg rant funds no. F19-31219-456 for wages and salaries. WHEREAS, these additional budget expenditures were not anticipated when preparing the 2021 budget; and WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 a public, hearing, must be held to authorize additional budget appropriations. WHEREAS, on the 24th day of August 2021 at 3:00 p.m., apublic hearing was held in the Grant County Commissioners" Hearing Room.
